It has been quiet here over the last week, but that hasn’t been from a lack of activity on my part. If you cast your minds back to the Common Resource post from a couple of months ago, you may see that I promised to get that group blog set up. Well, with Midga’s kind hosting help, I’m almost finished, and it should be ready in the next day or so.
More details to come…

Good to hear. Let me know what I need to do
Riccrdo
Riccardo, just head over to http://www.transporttextbook.com and register (link in the left sidebar) and I can make you an editor if you’d like.
cheers
I have registered – that will allow me to make comments (*cough* nuggets of dribble *cough*) on there like I do on here, yes?
If I’ve got it set up properly, commenting works the same way as it does here – you just need name and email. Registration is primarily if you’d like to write posts. Newly registered users are subscribers, and can’t author, but I can change their status to contributors or authors so they can write posts. You’re now an author and can start posting if you’d like.
It might be worth noting that your link to Michael Angelico’s forum points to the login.php page
What kind of posts are you wanting people to make? Melbourne specific I assume, or is regional Victoria included too?
Judging by the blog links, anything in Australia!
Yep, as long as it’s about transport and good quality, it’s ok with me.
Thanks for the smart passengers forum tip!
I might consider posting something after seeing a few other contributions to gauge the general format.
Not sure if it is possible for me to post anything other than dribble
Something that I’d love to see a post on would be about the requirements for viable passenger rail services outside of the interurban commuter boundary, from a better point of view than of the people in the Mildura threads on Failpage, but I’m not enough of an expert to write about it.
Somebody – I’m working on a post on the limitations of induced demand, which should cover some general issues surrounding V/Line Intercity (like Mildura etc). Should have it done tonight/tomorrow
It is very interesting for me to read that post. Thanx for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to them. I definitely want to read more soon.
Best regards
